By accessing or using services provided by Covala, Inc. (“Covala,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including the covala.com website, HomeIndex, and OfficeIndex applications (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

Covala provides product intelligence applications that help individuals and businesses manage products they own. Our Services include product inventory management, maintenance scheduling, error code lookup, product specifications, and retailer availability information.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You may not share your account with others or transfer it without our consent

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to our Services, including product photos, serial numbers, and notes. By submitting content, you grant Covala a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing and improving our Services.

5. Product Intelligence

Product information provided through our Services — including specifications, maintenance schedules, error codes, lifecycle data, and pricing — is provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information is complete, current, or error-free. Always consult manufacturer documentation for critical safety or maintenance decisions.

6. Retailer Links and Pricing

Our Services display product availability and pricing from third-party retailers. Prices are updated periodically but may not reflect real-time pricing. Clicking retailer links will take you to external websites governed by their own terms. Covala is not responsible for transactions between you and third-party retailers.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use our Services for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from our Services in bulk
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity of our Services

The Covala name, logo, and all related product names (HomeIndex, OfficeIndex, Covala Index) are trademarks of Covala, Inc. Our Services, including their design, features, and content, are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Covala shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of our Services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will cease immediately, though we may retain certain data as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
